Level 1 , 2 & 3 field Guiding combined with game farm management

These courses are based on standards set by the industry in order to produce professional field guides and Conservationists.  It runs over 3 and 6 months and 1 and 2 years respectively and covers the following aspects as suggested by the industry.

 • Biomes of Southern Africa
 • The Classes Insecta and Arachnida (spiders)
 • The Class Reptilia (Reptiles)
 • The Class Aves (Birds)
 • Animal behaviour
 • Tracking
 • Weapons and weapon handling
 • Bush driving and vehicle maintenance

 • Basic Plumbing and Water maintenance

• Basic electrical word

• Basic building

• Welding

• Woodwork and Carpentry

  Note : We also look at your practical abilities during the course to see if you will fit  into a lodge situation as a      guide and all rounder.  This could include anything to do with working in the industry !!!!
